Club Penguin Headline Chat Rules

These rules apply to the CPH Chat:

1. Respect other users

2. No swearing

3. No attacking/harrassing others

4. Keep religious talking to a minimal to prevent flame wars

5. No advertizing

6. No spamming

7. No asking to be a moderator or admin

8. If you are attacked/harrassed by others in private chat or in a private messege, take a screenie* and send it to a moderator on these forums via the private messeging system

Depending on the seriousness of your disbehavior on the chat, you may be kicked as a warning to stop, IP banned up to 6 hours but a moderator or an admin, or IP banned for longer (possibly even for ever) by Link4562 (CPH Chat's main owner). If you continue to break the rules even after IP banned, such as coming back on a different computer and then breaking the rules there, you will recieve up to 2 infractions on these forums, and instantly IP banned on any other computer.

*To take a screenie:

• On a Mac:
  -Command-Shift-3: Take a screenshot of the screen, and save it as a file on the desktop
  -Command-Shift-4, then select an area: Take a screenshot of an area and save it as a file on the desktop
  -Command-Shift-4, then space, then click a window: Take a screenshot of a window and save it as a file on the desktop
  -Command-Control-Shift-3: Take a screenshot of the screen, and save it to the clipboard
  -Command-Control-Shift-4, then select an area: Take a screenshot of an area and save it to the clipboard
  -Command-Control-Shift-4, then space, then click a window: Take a screenshot of a window and save it to the clipboard
  
  
• To take a screenie on a PC:
  Press Print Screen SysRq, and a picture of the whole screen will be saved to your clipboard
  
  
• Once a picture is saved to your clip board:
  1. Open a picture editor such as Paint
  2. Paste picture into document
  -Go to Edit>Paste
  -Hold down apple/Ctrl and Shift and type v
  3. Edit the picture/select part of the picture that you want, and cut or copy, or crop to selection (if you crop to selection, skip steps 4, 5, and 6).
  4. Select all (hold apple/Ctrl and type a)
  5. Click delete button or backspace button
  6. Paste
  7. If needed, crop excess/white space around picture
  8. Save as .png for best quality
  9. Upload to picture host ( www.photobucket.com is prefered to be used on these forums, or upload to your website)
  10. Copy the link of the picture
  11. Paste it here, or if small enough, click the button and paste the link in the window that pops up
